LEARN ABOUT THE BRAIN

Brain Cells
The brain is actually a collection of cells. There are two groups of brain cells, neurons and glia cells. These two groups of cells work together to make sure that our brain can do its job. The brain cells are very tiny, smaller than the eye can see. There are billions of cells in the brain!

Brain Lobes
The brain is separated into four parts (lobes) that are all responsible for different jobs. The four lobes are the frontal lobe, the parietal lobe, the temporal lobe, and the occipital lobe. This section teaches you all about the brain lobes!

Important Parts of the Brain
The brain is not just one giant lump, but actually has a lot of different parts underneath the surface. The different parts of the brain all have important jobs that help our brain and body function.
